Hi
Sorry to sound a bit vague  But I was trying to see if there is a cneection with bridgebrook estate and colchester
I live on a modern 60's development which is Bridgebrook estate which was originally Bridgebrook Farm Wondered if that was any help in where to look next as I could look in Colchester Records for you but not if I have got it all wrong Ha ha  :)

Thanks for that.
I'm following A "William Blomfield", birth date 11 Jan 1810, born in Colchester.
Hence my interest in the William Blomfield, that was occupier of Bridgebrook Estate.

I have now found reference to three Blomfield's.

Joseph Blomfield's will dated 1690

Samuel Blomfield baptised 24 April 1786

Joseph Blomfield and Thomas Mayhew Bear's partnership at "Dearn's Foundry, near St Botoiph's station 1861

Any research on the "Blomfield's of Colchester, would be very much appreciated, as I have run into a dead stop at the monent.

Thanks Nodblom

Will get back to you

Thanks for that information.
I am a direct descendant of Samuel (1835-1918), and have the family tree from William, down.
I had some of that information, but not all - Thanks.
Will look into the WWW. site
