can any one do a 1901 census look up for james foster wife sarah    they married brampton cumberland in 1900 sarah born 1881 ne frost i think they had a daughter sarah or sally they ended up living in ashington     sorry there,s not much imfo any help would be great

Free BMD has their marriage as Sarah being Sarah Jane Foster nee Frost.
There is a Sarah Jane Foster age 20 born Cumberland Carlisle who is married shown as a visitor in the household of an Armstrong family in Brampton. Is she a possibility?
Do you know roughly when the child sally or sarah was born and when they ended up in Northumberland eg before 1911 census??
Any year of birth for James?

sorry no date of birth for sally ,think it long after 1911 when they moved to ashington sorry got it now    thats right what you found      also had it posted on the cumbria look ups         sorry about that

There are a few baptisms in Ashington Holy Sepulchre where the father is James, Colliery horsekeeper, and the mother is a Sarah Jane [from Cumberland].  The actual address was Hirst.  Children:   Nicholas, Sarah Jane, and a Robert.  If these sound like your I can give you the baptism dates.

All these children were born early 1900 so then in Ashington before 1911.

Nicholas baptised 16 Nov 1901, living 15 Station Road, Hirst
Sarah Jane baptised 4 Jul 1903, living 90 Myrtle Street, Hirst
Robert baptised 22 July 1905, living 150 Severn Street, Hirst
