Hi Grantley,
Easiest way out of this is to get Tom Bowden Brooks Birth Cert.
The older Children may be Thomas's and both of them may have been Widowed and Married c 1836.

Therefore Esther may be ?? nee Bowden ???

I think it best that I go through all my leads and see what I can find.
