There were cottages near Hopetoun house called Crawstane.  Does anyone know the origin of the name.
Montgomery - Conlig Carluke New Zealand.

If you type into Google 'Crawstane cottages' up pops a website for Scotlandplaces with the info it is the second website the first is your inquiry.
I tried to type in the website address but no joy.
