Alfred Dakin, Royal Artillery, Burma, WWII.
« on: Friday 04 March 11 06:39 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for any service information regarding Alfred Dakin who served with the Royal Artillery in Burma during WWII, I am assuming he was in th Royal Artillery by the red/black diamond on his slouch hat, (see photo). He was Alfred Dakin (married to Elizabeth Dakin (nee Tatlock))
Date of Birth : 2 July 1909
Death : 13 August 1983
He lived in Secker Street, Latchford then Parr Street Howley, both Warrington, Lancashire (later due to county boundary changes Cheshire).
