A few notes from Herefordshire newspapers regarding John Kinsey of Wacton.

April 1830. Marriage of Jane Kinsey, youngest daughter of John Kinsey of Wacton, to W.Knott  of Shoulton, Worcs.

9th July 1833. Joseph Williams, youngest son of John Kinsey, of Wacton, died aged 27.

1st September 1839. Death at the New Inn, near Bromyard, of Elizabeth aged 66, wife of John Kinsey, and second daughter of the late J Williams, of Barton.

24th February 1839. Death at Wacton of Jane, wife of Mr Nott, late of Hallow, and youngest daughter of Mr John Kinsey, of the New Inn, aged 29.

4th May 1840. Put up for auction were properties occupied by John Kinsey. 1) The New Inn, Wacton, plus 33 acres adjoining. 2) The adjacent farm called Little Wacton, comprising dwelling abd 87 acres.

On 14th and 15th May 1840 by order of the Sheriff were sold, at Little Wacton and New Inn Farms, all the farming and household effects of John Kinsey.

21st June 1840 at Wacton, William Rogers married Harriet Kinsey, both of Wacton.

21st February 1842 Insolvency hearing for John Kinsey, previously innkeeper and farmer  of the New Inn, Wacton, now out of business, and in lodgings, resulted in him being discharged.

19th March 1842 John Kinsey died at the New Inn, Wacton, aged 75.
