Princess Street Aberystwyth
« on: Wednesday 09 March 11 15:48 GMT (UK) »
I am so excited! today after several years I recieved a copy of my Great grandparents marriage.
At the time of their marriage March 1886 they were living at the above address Princess Street.
Is there anyone who could find out who was also in that household please at that time?
Also if there is any records that could be searched for the following years\/
Looking for Davies,&  Evans family, they were hawkers.

Thanking you

Susan

so excited you forgot to give their first names!  ;D

How about names, ages & fathers' names & occupations, please? In between census years may be difficult.

Hello again osprey,

Susan, if possible the house number may be useful.   I don't know if it's too early for electoral rolls but if not the ladies at Ceridion Archives may be able to help http://archifdy-ceredigion.org.uk/

Princess Street is a small street in the old part of town linking Queen Street and Vulcan Street

Osprey

Thank you very much for that, and yes you do have the correct family.

Hmm wonder how I can find out who was living there  in 1886?

Trying to locate Anne's family post and prior to her marriage, I do believe they were also hawkers!!

Much appreciated

Osprey  :)  Thank you so much for the 1881 Census for Robert and family, I now have that and 1871 for the family. Would there be any other available?
