Wilson's, Simpson, Skinner's of Aberdeen
« on: Wednesday 20 April 05 22:39 BST (UK) »
Have been searching for a John A. Wilson born about March 1850 in Aberdeen.
Don't know the fathers name but he died at a fairly young age in Aberdeen.  The mother's name was Margaret Skinner also lived in Aberdeen.  I'm thinking she was probably born around the 1820' to 1830's.  John had 1 sister younger than him I think her name was Alice or Sally.  John left Scotland and moved to England as a young man while waiting to come to the United States.  He landed in Idaho about 1874/1876 where I've been able to trace through census records.  John married Margaret Simpson in Idaho who is also from Aberdeen.  They knew each other while in there home land.  Margaret Simpson was born October 29, 1851 Aberdeen, Scotland.  John after settling in Idaho went back to Scotland and brought his mother and sister to Idaho to live.  Probably around 1880's.

At this point I'm not sure where to look for more information. ???
