Nottingham right name

Hi

Can someone tell me the correct name for this place I have two people on one census

One it states Burton on Tabris and the other Branton in Fabris would these be two different place or one just missed transcribed

Sounds like it is Burton on Trent.
But if you supply the reference numbers for the census ( if it is a nottinghamshire census) i will have a look.

Hello Mimosa,

I think the place you are looking for is BARTON IN FABIS.  It is a Nottinghamshire village just outside Gotham and 2 miles from Long Eaton.  Burton upon Trent is in Derbyshire.   :)

thae place I am looking for is in Nottinghamshire

The census that I got the information for is for Oslington it was just the place two of them came from

The RG for this is 13/175 V32 F144 Pg 34

the two people are Elizabeth Francis and William Winfield her uncle.
