Mottow - Dorset

Hi all,

Just a quickie,

Can anybody tell me where Mottow is? Or what the name should read?

I have a family named Caddy OR Caddey. When researching in the 1881 census I find that Catherine Caddy aged 9, living Seaborough,  was born in Mottow, Dorset. ( Other siblings were born Little Windsor; Netherbury; Burton Bradshaw.).

The 1901 census shows Catherine born Maiden Newton.

Is Maiden Newton known as Mottow locally? Or is there a hamlet nearby with such a name? Any offers accepted?

Maybe it was misheard by the enumerator taking Census details?
1891 Census Kate Caddy is born Seaborough

1871 Census George/Eliza are living in Maiden Newton, Dorset

OK folks, found it. Should have been "Notton"
