Alan14578, Thank you for those dates. If it's chiseled in stone it's probably more accurate than what is written on these old papers here. I was wondering what you meant in that post when you said Robert, Saddler, since Margaret Potter's husband was Robert Turnbull.             Leafer

Hi Yes it actually reads"  By children of Robert Turnbull, saddler Lilliesleaf died 9-5-1835 aged 45yrs Margaret Potter wife died 2-2-1837 aged 47yrs

There is a Helen Aitken wife of James Haldane tenant Riddle Mill died 24-6-1860 aged 78yrs.
also
a William Aitken a farmer Friarshaw (wife Mary Hogg) who died at Dale Farm Paullina IOWA 15-5-1891 aged 77yrs and a son William H Aitkin died Baltimore 19-10-1890 aged 46yrs,
They may not be yours but they are the only other two mentioned in Liliesleaf MIs.
Hope it helps.

Thank you again. I am assuming that the "saddler" in the inscription, that had me puzzled was actually his occupation and not a different surname.
