Thought you might like to read this  I was looking in the library at braintree books to see if their was any mention of the Breeds but there was no mention any where There was main bakers Cresswell was one
I did find a book that was all about Braintree over the years Religion school etc
and picked this titbit out which may or not help you  Statement of the poor
This is not exact as I print that I dont think I can do that
There was some details of a letter sent to John Webb esq ..and gentlemen of the vestry regarding Paupers in Norwich Belonging to Braintree

another statement said...Widow Breed married to a man named moore Mary aged 14 who earns 4/6 weekJoseph 11 earns 2/- week Elizabet 10 earns 1/6 week Ann 7 earns 1/ and Sara 5 earns nothing making a total of 9/- week so no poor relief. They are living in the parish of Pocklehope Black Boy Yard
Could be something to do with your family  who obviously moved to Norwich

Thank you again for supplying such information!

I believe one of my ancestors, John Breed, was born in Downham Market, Norfolk c1814 so the Breeds in Norwich is very interesting.

You certainly have provided me with information I didn't expect. Thank you so much for your time and effort, it is greatly appreciated, particularly since I live in Australia.
