Many thanks.

Hi there
The entry for Porlock in 1861 is :-

RG9/1601 Fo & p no not clear
House Sch No 55 Parsons street
Phillip Moore head Mar 70 Parish pay & club b Porlock Som
Ann       "       wife         60                                   "
George  "        son Unm 21 Ag Lab                       "

No sign of Robert I'm afraid. Only other Moore family in Porlock is a John Moore 46, wife Betty and several children.

Regards

Thanks very much for that Sue.  After I posted the look-up request I found a Robert Moore on the Glamorgan Burial Index at Cardiff St Mary's,which fits in with his birth year, and another death reg. at Williton (which is the district for Porlock) Somerset in March 1851 but unfortunately doesn't give the age of the person who died.  So, I assume that he died between 1851 and 1861.

Kind regards

Patricia
