No unfortunately the 1881 and other early censuses for Co Armagh have been destroyed. The first one that is available is the 1901.

Hello

I believe there are some townlands in Armagh that have been saved.  I know the Kilmore area has some remaining and my aim to contact PRONI when it opens in a couple of weeks time to purchase the film.

According to all the sources I've checked the 1881 census was completely destroyed by government order.

1821 Census for Forkhill Parish, Co. Armagh available at www.emeraldancestors.com (pay site)- nearly 6,500 names of residents living in the Parish of Forkhill (includes the name, age, occupation and relationship to the head of household for all residents recorded within the Parish).

Various fragments of the 1851 census for Armagh are in Thrift Abstracts (National Archives, Dublin) and only 2 complete census available are 1901 and 1911.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
