I need suggestions about how I can trace a baptism record for John Horgan in County Kerry.

He settled in Wales after marrying Mary Richards in 1864.  From the marriage certificate and census returns I know his father's name was James and that he was probably born between 1839 and 1841 in County Kerry.  No mention of exactly where.

I've just looked through baptism records on irishgenealogy but I can't see anything even close.  Any ideas what I can try next?

Hi Mel

I'm sorry not to have replied earlier. I didn't see any of your messages.

We are, indeed, part of the same family tree. In fact if you are who I think you are I believe we met several times as children above the Jolly Sailor when my family came on holiday to your neck of the woods. I am happy to share anything I've discovered about the Horgans and any other branches of the family. I actually have some interesting stuff about the Horgans who went to Australia thanks to a lovely lady in New Zealand who married into the family. As yet I have not posted enough entries to be able to send you a private message. So perhaps you would send a private message to me with your e-mail address so I can update you?

Again, apologies for not replying earlier. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sharon
