Just to let you know that i am going to look for some death notice stuff on thursday, so i will look for yours for you, no probs.  I will let you know on Thursday night what i found.

Hi William,

I went to Newcastle Library today and found an entry in the Evening Chronicle death notices for you.....

Evening Chronicle : Thursday 16th March 1899

Harbottle - 53 Theodosia Street, Elswick, on the 15th inst, aged 47, Thomas, beloved husband of Margaret Harbottle, and youngest son of the late John and Nelly Harbottle, formerly of Belford.  Interment at Elswick Cemetery on Sunday at 3pm.  Friends please accept this intimation.

Then i decided to have a look through the Elswick Cemetery records for you and found this :

hello saltandpepper, many thanks for you help. i was stuck on thomas as i had two of them from about the same place only ayear or two apart. this thomas is the other one. every thingwas going neck and neck. thanks to you i have the right thomas. again many thanks. if you need alook up in shropshire let me know. regards william.
