Botany Bay, St Woollos?
« on: Saturday 19 March 11 10:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

Have just received a death certificate from 1837 with place of residence of the informant "Botany Bay, St Woollos".  I know that it must have been somewhere in Newport but just curious to find out if anyone has any idea where this was?

TIA <hopeful>  ;D

Debbie

St Woolos is now the cathedral in Newport, but would have been the parish church at that time.
