Searching for info on a William Tansley

I'm trying to locate information on a William Tansley born abt 1829 in Limehouse, London specifically his parents.  He married a Frances Smith on 25 Dec 1849.

The IGI shows the marriage was at St Thomas in Stepney so can be looked up in parish records

If this is not possible - you will need to buy a copy of the marriage cert to find his fathers name as there is no 1841 entry and nothing on the IGI or London records for his birth
