Hi there nic.b, nice to hear from you and welcome to Rootschat, to send me a PM
(private message) you need to have made at least 3 posts on this site. But you
can communicate via this post if you like. once you have made at least 3 posts
on here then we can communicate in private if you prefer that or just go ahead
and chat here. I am excited to know in what way you are connected to the McKays.
I am always looking for ways to add to the tree and offcourse if you are just
beginning your journey i would be only too happy to share what info i have
with you. I have been researching for about 5 yrs now on and off so i have
quite a bit of info but you will learn that there is always more to find .lol.
Hope to hear from you soon. roecoyle. :)

hiya  roecoyle
glad you received my post im not the quickest with these sites, i take a while to get used to it.
My grandma who is now 86 is the daughter of alexander mcgee mckay, he was the son of catherine mckay.  I have as far back as angus mckay married to mary wilson but dont have much info on them other than their son was william mckay. do you have any of these people on your tree?  I doubt i will have anything that would help you  but if there was i would be only to happy to share with you.

Hiya, Im not sure which Catherine we are talking about , there was a few with the same name. Who was
your Catherine married to?  William McKay was married to Mary Wilson but Williams father was Angus.
Although there are a few Williams too in the family.
