HISCOX Shepton Mallet Marriage

Can anyone help with a look up for a marriage for Joseph HISCOX b 1824 and married 1845 in Shepton Mallet to a Sarah ?
Looks like Sarah may have been born in Croscombe [?] Somerset c 1821

Any help much appreciated

The marriage I can see on Free bdm in 1845 Shepton Mallet isn't married to a Sarah you have a choice out of

Hi Rachel,

Looking at the census Sarah was from Evercreech. I haven't had any joy with a likely marriage in Somerset. Evercreech is also in the Shepton Mallet district. You may need to purchase one of the children's birth certificates to get her name.

l wondered about a Sarah BUCK. There is a marriage for a Joseph HISCOX with a possible wife Sarah BUCK but it is in Amersham (Bucks) Sep 1/4 1844 6 445. Seems a long way from Shepton Mallet but I am not spotting a Joseph Hiscox in Bucks in 1851 or in fact any Hiscox so this chap does appear to have married out of county.

Good spot, Kris.  Sarah BUCK 20 was in the household of John & Grace HISCOX at Darshill, Shepton Mallet 1841.  Perhaps she and Joseph eloped as in 1851 their son Alfred aged 5 was recorded born Darshill.
