I wish I could find Annie's birth and/or marriage  (I know she was born in Guernsey)
I have to find out about her...
if I know about her -  I can piece the other stuff together

Just a thought.......Why would she be called Jewell if her son was illigitimate ?
Ithink if i was you i would post for a specific Channell Islands look up for her birth and a possible marriage

Here's another question - why would she be named as Mrs C Jewell on Charles' Commonwealth War Graves in 1916 - when she had been married to John Sinel all those years? unless his wife didn't know her or something ....!

Too many questions - and no answers !

I wish I could do some searching myself - this is so frustrating  ............ it's driving me doodle ally!!
