Marriage look up please

I have already posted about my struggle to find any marriage between Christina Sutherland dob 1828/9 Invergordon and Charles Nuttall dob 1841 Paddington. They had one son John William Nuttall dob 1867.
I have tried so many combinations of names to find a marriage between Christina and Charles and wonder if anybody can find anything for me in Scotlandspeople. Any help much appreciated (and thanks to monical so far for help

Hi,

What makes you believe they married in Scotland and not in England. From what I managed to find (the 1881 census) the family was living at 23 Cirencester Street, London, Middlesex. Birthplace for John William was given as Paddington.

I couldn't find any Charles Nuttal in Scotland in 1861 nor in 1871.

By the way, according to that 1881 census, dates of birth could differ a bit: Christina 1833, Charles 1838. Charles was a shop porter at the time, and son John an "errand boy grocers".

Well I've tried to find a marriage in England for Charles and Christina but have been unable to find one, so somebody suggested try Scotland! Also can't seem to find a Charles on 1851 or 1861 England census if his place of birth is in fact Paddington!
And haven't been able to find a death for Charles if you take it that he was alive on the 1881 census but was down as deceased when his son John married in 1887!

Well I have been continuing my search for the elusive Charles Nuttall and his wife Christina. I have recently found a Nuttall family living in Chelsea in the 1851 census.
John Nuttall dob 1809 Marylebone
Sarah          dob 1810 Ramsbury Wilts.
John            dob 1831 St Anns Middx.
Jane            dob 1837 St James' Middlesex
Charles       dob 1839  ''    ''              ''
Can't find them in the 1841 census but found the dad John living by himself in 1861 in the Paddington district so wonder if this could be my family!
Apologies but this is probably in completely the wrong place now!
Still can't find any marriages for Christina Sutherland and Charles Nuttall
