Help with James Rae of Kirkpatrick
« on: Friday 08 April 11 17:01 BST (UK) »
Hi all
I hope you may be able to help me please,  I am looking for a James Rae born Kirkpatrick abt 1797.
On his son wedding certifficate he said he was an enginer, on the only census I have found him on looked like farmer that was the 1851 Liverpool census.

James had a son John Rae born in abt 1830 Scotland , Carlsle, Cumberland on all the census I have him on it is diffrent from 1841 to 1901 Liverpool.

On the 1841 Liverpool census Young John is with his mother,  it look like jean or jane I would think it is Jane as John had a daughter Emily Jane.
I think his mother died between 1841 and 1851 .
Can any one help find James birth,  marriage or even a birth for John I know its asking alot  but I keep hitting brick walls, any help or advice would really be appreciated .
                                                         Kind regards Sue
