1901 census - Job Pyatt
« on: Friday 08 April 11 22:23 BST (UK) »
Could someone please look up Job Pyatt born in Longton in 1898 in the 1901 census. Think that he is possibly the son of another Job Pyatt.

Thanks

Thanks very much, But that leaves me a little confused.

Staffordshire BMD and family search has a marriage
Job Pyatt to Annie Priscilla Leese - 14 February 1898.
So I was expecting a wife Annie.

Hannah and Annie are forms of the same name, so the marriage may be the correct one - you would really need a birth cert for one of the children to be completely sure.

From FamilySearch:
Job PYATT (son of Joseph PYATT) married Annie Priscilla LEESE (daughter of James LEESE), 14 Feb 1898, Edensor, Staffs.

I can see an Annie LEES born Walsall 1871, daughter of James and Caroline on census, but no Hannah (unless I'm missing something obvious!).

Jemima May Lees (Pyatt) was my great grandmother.  I have her on the 1911 census at 3 wards buildings, Longton.  Her mother is Hannah Pyatt (middle name was Priscilla) and she is listed at being born 1873 in Salop, Wellington.
