Cassidy's of Castletown, Ahoghill
« on: Monday 11 April 11 16:50 BST (UK) »
Hi,
my ggfather, Michael Diamond (1814-1908) was the grandson of a woman called Cassidy.
I know this because his funeral report talks of her and her two brothers, Rev. John Cassiday (1735-1819) and Rev Peter Cassidy (1760 - 1815). Fr John was active in Ahoghill for 49 years, Fr Peter in St Mary's, Belfast, for 21 years. Both buried in Aughnahoy, Portglenone, graveyard.

So, if anyone has info, I'd appreciate it.
