In 1925 Edwin Watt married a widow Isabella Sinclair or Menin daughter of George Sinclair and Eleanor Watson.  I presume this is Isabella McKenzie because there are the same age.

May I welcome you to Rootschat

The common ancester with George Sinclair would be John Trail and Grizzel Ritchie.

George son in law (Mary husband) Andrew Crawford is related to me.  Common ancestor is George Crawford and Anne Noble married in 1844

George daughter in law (James wife) Eva Cowe is related to me.  Common ancestor is William Ritchie (born 1763)  and Jean Ritchie (born 1770)

So very distance related.

Hello Again,

I'm not familiar with that pair. Where do they fit in? This is what I have:

George Sinclair (1868-1945) was the son of James Sinclair (1825-1900) and Jane Trail (1824-1911).

Jane Trail (1824-1911) was the daughter of James Trail (1797-1869) and Jane Walls (1790-1879).

James Trail (1797-1869) was the son of James Trail and Jane Bruce.

I had Jane Trail parents as Alexander Trail and Elizabeth Burnett looked at death certificate and it should be James Trail and Jane Walls
