Charles Henry Proctor

Charles was born in Mansfield in 1898. I wish to establish who his parents were, but have been unable to find a birth record. I believe his parents originated in Lincolnshire and would appreciate details if possible please. Thanks

Sorry, I meant to say - Sculcoates is just north of the Humber so not so very far from Lincolnshire. Might be worth considering.

Somehow I don't think this is the one, the information regarding his date and place of birth came from his son so stands a good chance of being accurate.

Is he the 2 year old Charles Hy visiting the Elvins in Thurgarton ? He has who may be a slighly older bro' with him - John William, aged 3 ... both born Nottingham

An excellent fit, given the lads whereabouts in the 1901 census - wonder why they werent simply shown as Grandsons?
