Lost bible
« on: Monday 18 April 11 14:55 BST (UK) »
I have lost my family bible.  It is in Welsh, and has the names, Jones, Thomas, and more recently Meyer, O'Donovan.  It has been restored, has leather covers and brass clips.  It was sold by an unscrupulous book restorer in South Africa, to someone who has the name Jones in their ancestry.  I have heard that they have immigrated to Australia.  Should anyone have heard of a Welsh family bible, I would pay all expenses etc. to have it back.  My last chance... :'(

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Thank you, I didn't think of that, it is a long shot but then finding it is going to be a longshot anyway!
