I've just been looking at the new issue of Who Do You Think You Are? magazine and it has an article about a new online resource.
The site is called Connected Histories and is available at
www.connectedhistories.orgThe site allows you to search a variety of records covering the period 1500-1900. Although it does not provide access to any new documents, it allows you to search a wide range of resources such as British History Online, Old Bailey Proceedings Online, London Lives, etc. in a single search.
The magazine article mentions that "project organisers also plan to make a major update to the site's collections later in the year, including 65,000 books from the British Library and thousands of 19th-century pamphlets".
