I am looking for the parents of Alison Edgar born in Maybole 8th July 1855.She married Thomas Cuthbert in Maybole 10th June 1874.I am not 100%sure but i think her mother was named Sarah.Thankyou.Anne.

You should be able to get details of her marriage on "Scotlands People" website which should give you both the bride & groom's parents just to make sure.  I think that registration of marriages began in 1855.
