Joseph KENT emigration
« on: Friday 22 April 11 05:14 BST (UK) »
I have been trying to find out on which ship Joseph Kent emigrated from Cornwall to Adelaide. He was listed in the 1851 Census in St. Neot, Cornwall and married Loveday Pearce in North Adelaide on 5 Dec 1857. He was born in St. Neot in 1833 and died in Mannum, South Australia on 9 Oct 1901. I have trawled through all the shipping lists from Plymouth from 1851-1857 (on The Ships List) and the only Joseph Kent I can find was on the Anglia in 1852 but he was about 7 years too old and came from Lincoln. Can anyone help me track down which ship he came out on?
