Woburn Parish records burial check.
« on: Sunday 24 April 11 20:08 BST (UK) »
  Hello all

I have in 1644 in Woburn a marriage of
John Tristeme to Frances Canler 31 Oct 1644.
Now no birth in Beds for Frances but there is a Frances Chandler bapt 25 Jan 1624 could this be her?
I know all this on IGI but  does anyone have the records to look for a death of Frances Chandler.
I believe John Tristeme to be of Bassingbourn Cams and I am not the only one to tie these two together.

Hope all that makes sense..  Thanks

 Tazzie

  Hi David.

So in this case a no show looks to be good. Knowing "local" accents or close enough I wondering if Chandler sounds like Canler.  Say it quick mind.
I mistakingly said John was of Bassingbourn but that was where they raised children. Its possible John was baptised in Arlesey in 1615 son of John & Jone with various spellings on Trustrum.
Thanks for the burial check must try to get to records office but work gets in the way now.

  Tazzie
