cannot find the marriage of edward also cannot find a definite for him in 1841,1851
but the birth of their youngest on the 1861 is(if you really wanted to you could get the birth cert that would tell you her mothers maiden name)

maybe the mothers maiden name is spencer
there is a submitted record on the I.G.I. that says edward married ann spencer
but it does,nt give a date or place for the marriage (so i would treat it with caution)

Thanks for all your help.  I am still searching for Isaac Watts born 1796, he is another difficult one.  Will add Edward on my todo list.

Isaac Watts - born 25 March 1822, parents Isaac Watts & Elisabeth Small.  Her father was William Small.  The birth is recorded in Dr Williams Library, so the family are likely to be non-conformist.  Isaac & Elisabeth also had Emma (1824) and William Henry (1827).

Thank you for the info, I am trying to locate Isaac Watts Snr who married Elisabeth Small.  He seems very elusive.  All I have is that he was born around 1796, not sure which county, as the 1841 Census (if that is him in falmouth?) regards Pauline
