William CHALICE birth lookup Stonehouse Plymouth

I was wondering if anyone could look up the birth details of a William Chalice born 24 April 1789. On census records he is down as having been born in either Stonehouse or Stoke Dameral. Would be grateful to anyone who could find the record to see name of father and try to shed light on family rumour that he was descended from French Huguenots!

"Your Family Tree" March 2011 had an article on Huguenots and gave a number of searchable websites for Huguenot ancestry. If you didn't see it, I can message you the website details.

Could possibly be parents, to be honest not sure (why i would appreciate birth look up). However we think the name of the father would still be William.
