William John Cardwell Dromore/Dromara bc 1861

Hi to all,
            I'm trying to find details of William John Cardwell who was born in or around the Dromore/Dromara area around 1861.He married Sarah Moreland on 26th July 1883, and was then living in Drumiller,near Dromore, his father was named on his marriage certificate as William John Cardwell also. According to his death certificate,he was 64 when he died in Jan 1925.I know of his children, but want to find his date of birth ,and also details of his father. I know of a William John Cardwell who was born in 1842 to William Cardwell and Margaret Chambers, who could well be his father, but i am trying to be certain about the facts before pursuing further research. I would like to hear from anyone who may have any information on these two Cardwells, or indeed any Cardwells from the Dromara/Dromore/Waringstown area.

Hi audrey,
                Thx for taking the time to reply with all the info.Some I have come across before,others are new to me.Unfortunately, it would appear that my ancestor married in a registry office,as it seems he was a Plymouth Brethren,who did not meet in conventional churches,but rather in gospel halls. They were unable to perform their own marriages at that time, and most marriages seem to be in a registry office. I think the GRO in Belfast is my next port of call.
