Hodsdon in Garston 1841 look up please

Hi

Would someone be kind enough to look up Thomas Hodsdon & family on the 1841. He would be 59 & a farmer. Born in Abbotts Langley, on the 1851 he is in Garston with wife Mary so I am hoping he is at the same farm.

I don't know if this is the same chap, but he is the only Thomas HODSDON living at Garston in 41.  The 41 does not give relationships within families or place of birth, only whether or not they were born in the county.  Adult ages tend to be rounded to nearest 5.

Thank you very much for the look up. I would say that is the right Hodsdon family as I was going to ask for a look up for George the son but you have found him. Thank you.

He must have progressed up a step in the next ten years to be a farmer on the 1851. My Grt Grt Grandfather James Beament is a farm bailiff living next door to the Hodsdons on the 51 so I assumed he worked for them. Perhaps not. I am trying to find a link between the Hodsdons & my elusive Grt Gran Frances Isabella Main (birth name Isabella Spurgeon) who is,I believe, living with George Hodsdon on the 1871 as niece but with the name Frances Spurgeon. All very complicated. !!!
