Can anyone tell me how to get a family bible restored? The pages are fine, it's just the spine which has come away.

Hi Mandy :)

The best way would be to take it to a book conservator - these are people specialised in the rebinding and repair of historic books.

Try this topic, it will give you links to websites for searching for a conservator where you live - if your country isn't listed, let me know:

Hi Prue
Thank you so much for the information. I found a restorer near Wakefield and have e-mailed some photos to him just now; it's fairly local to me in Sheffield, UK. Fingers crossed!
Regards
Mandy
