I have found a daughter born in May 2, 1843 named Jane Ann.  Father is Alexander, Mother is Ann Galbreath?  Baptism on Aug 6, 1843.  Montreal St James Church.

I've also found William - June 19, 1932.  Baptism on Sept 3, 1932.

Let me know if the parents are correct and I can send you the details.  Got to go out right now but I can look further later.

On the baptism it gives Alexander's occupation as milkman.  One of the witnesses was John Millen who was also a witness at Alexander's death.

Marriage 18 April 1867 at Erskine Presbyterian Montreal between Thomas George Mountain and Jane Ann Cathcart (ancestry indexes her name as Cataford).  Unfortunately no parents of either party are given.

Burial of Jane Cathcart d/o Thomas George Mountain and Jane Ann Cathcart on July 19, 1873 aged 2 years 11 months.  Same church that was used for Jane Ann's parents burial.  Witnesses were Thos. G. Mountain and T. Cathcart.

Baptisms of the following children took place in the same church that Alexander's death was recorded at

children of Thomas George Mountain and Jane Ann Cathcart
Thomas William b. 19 Nov 1872
Mildred Annie b. 11 Jan 1878

children of Thomas Cathcart and Christina Fournie/Fournier
Thomas b. 7 June 1878
Alexander William b. 17 Feb 1876
Christina Jane b. 19 Dec 1881
John Joseph b. 4 april 1883
Annie Florence b. 9 Feb 1885

children of William Cathcart and Elizabeth McCowan
William Thomas b. 31 March 1866 baptized 2 March 1867.  Noted that father William was resident of New York
Richard Galbraith b. 17 Oct 1863 Montreal

children of Alexander Cathcart and Mary Ann Bailey
Jane Ann b. 13 Feb 1867
Lily Frances b. 14 June 1870 Montreal

There could be other births registered in other churches but I only investigated the one church.

Cosmac you are on the right track
Alexander Cathcart was married to Mary Anne Bailey
And married Marie June Allen as his second wife

Alexander is William's brother.
Thomas cathcart was married to Christina . That is another brother.
I'm looking for birth records of them because I believe there father Alexander was from Ireland.
I thought William married Elizabeth Elisa McCrum but that's the one I can not find.
I have a date of June 17th 1856 at New Connex Methodist Church , Montreal

To me it looks like Elizabeth McCrum on the image of the marriage record for William Cathcart to Elizabeth. She signed her name as Eliza McCrum. There is no info given re parents. The date and location of the marriage are as you stated earlier.

Please see my remarks about how to access records on one of your other threads.

We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.
