Would be grateful if someone could help me find George and Hannah's deaths.  Cannot find them on the 1901 census, but have the 1911 census.  George is working as a coal miner (Hewer) living at 15 Wrightson Street, Hartford Colliery, Cramlington, Parish - East Hartford with Hannah and childlren.

From free BMD Deaths in Northum, berland 1911 to 1950
Sep q 1921 Newcastle
George Murray age 47 Vol 10b p13

Jun q 1934 Morpeth
George W Murray age 58 Vol 10b p 517

Mar q 1948 Northumberland N 1st
George Murray Vol 1b p 368

Sep q 1949 Northumberland South
George Murray 75 Vol 1b p 366

The above are the nearest in age according to the date of birth
Hannah probably died after 1950 as there is no likely candidate before that date in Northumberland.

Does Hartbottle, Hatbottle or Ratbottle exist in Cramlington?   As i have found out that George died in Cramlington but do not know the year? and Hannah died before George.
Does Cramlington come under Newcastle upon Tyne?

And George and Hannah had another daughter Agnes.

Would be grateful for any help
Regards
Oletta

Oletta,

Harbottle, a small community, about 10 miles n.w. of Rothbury.
Rothbury is about 25 miles n.w. of Cramlington.

Harbottle, was once part of the Pasrish of Alwinton.

Cramlington lies about 8 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Cramlington does not "come under" Newcastle.

You need two maps- one modern, one for early times, to aid your Northumberland research.

Cramington Parish, dedicated to St Nicholas, was " born" out of the Parish of St Nicholas, Newcastle, in 1742.

 Oletta,

Up to 1936, a birth, marriage or death taking place in Harbottle, would have been registered within the Rothbury Registration District. (situated at Rothbury)

Thereafter within the Northumberland North, Second, Reg District ( situated at Alnwick.)

A birth, marriage or death in Cramlington, would have been registered with the Tynemouth Reg District (at North Shields) Then after 1936 at Northumberland South Reg District ( at North shields). Then after 1974 at North Tyneside Reg District ( at North Shields).
