Thats interesting I had search freebmd and had come to the same conclusion 'Frances Codd' ...it is also very interesting that Robert came from near Newark then decendants moved to the Linclonshire coast then five generations later back to the Newark area, where my great aunt was living.....then another two generations  to NI and although they are not living on the coast, they did live down the road to Lough Neagh ( which is very seasidy) ...........these migrating patterns fasinate me as much as the FH

There is a marriage
14-May 1838 Utterby Lincs( about 7 miles from Tathwell)  John Robinson married Frances Codd father Richard Codd   so I wonder if she was previously married ??? There is a John Robinson's who died in Louth 1Q 1842 but none I can find prior to that

I would imagine that her next marriage would have been as ROBINSON, not CODD, so I would discount her.  In any case, that couple were still in Utterby in 1851.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

There are, according to Freebmd 4 deaths of a Frances Smith in Louth between 1851 and 1855 (when Robert remarried) Two in 1851, one in 1853 and on in 1855. The last is unlikely. I'd hedge a bet on it being one of the 1852 ones, possibly after the birth of Robert who was 10 in 1861.

1853 was at Tathwell aged 34.  Incidentally, Frances's age was given as 33 in 1851 (not 37).
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.
