I would appreciate any help in tracing my husband's grt grandmother Annie Jane Connelly; the only information we have is:

1881 Census: Jane Ann Connelly born Cty Cavan 24yrs Domestic Servant Crewe Arms Hotel

Annie Jane Connelly (dghtr of John Connelly) m 24.01.1882 Crewe St Mary's RC Church James Allen from Wexford, Ireland

1891 Census: Annie J. Allen 33yrs b Ireland
1901 Census: Ann J. Allen 43yrs b Ireland
1911 Census: Ann Jane Allen 53yrs b Cootehill, County Cavan, Ireland
(Her children were: James Christopher, Edward, Walter, Eugene and Teresa Cathleen Allen)

Could anyone please  help me and suggest how to start looking for Annie Connelly before she arrived in Crewe, Cheshire?

To find Irish ancestors for pre-registration period you need to see if church records exist.

There is a Genealogy Centre in Cavan Town.
I know they have  some Church Records.
Its located at Cana House,Farnham St.,Cavan Town.
