Oxford (general) - Roberts

My great grandmother (Elizabeth Emma Roberts b.1853/4) stated her birthplace on both the 1881 and 1901 census as "Primrose Hill, Oxford", which I am unable to find - any clues?

Hi MattM,

Have you tried Google, i've just put Primrose Hill, Oxford in and its mostly to do with London, but if you keep schrolling down a couple of wbs sites come up for Oxford.
I tried Google Maps, typed Oxford , typed in Primrose Hill. It was'nt a street map but an area called Primrose Hill does appear.

As I am always being told, if it doesn't jump out at me I don't see it! I did try Google but it was obviously with my eyes half shut.
