Nick Boreham, hi!

It seems like he is connected to Ambrose and Martha Boreham so I'm glad you posted here.
Do you know who his parents were, perhaps they were Ambrose and Martha?

Hope to here from you soon

HI Many thanks for your message. I have a death certificate for samuel jarmin boreham for 1848 at widmer end high wycombe . we do not know where he came from or his parents , so can not go back on the family tree. There do seem to be Jarmins and borehams married together in suffolk, and I am wondering if there might be a connection there. Many thanks Nick.

hi, I am intrigued by Ambrose and Martha as they could possibly be about the right age to be parents, and we do have children  from samuel jarmin boreham called Ambrose. There might be a link. Nick

Hi Nick

Have found these entries for you on
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/

Samuel Jarman Borcham Bpt 7 Jun 1829 Sapiston mother Hannah Borcham

From the dob this is the Samuel Boreham on the 1901/1881/1871/1851 Census - I wonder if it the same Deliah that I found on the 1841C?

Samuel Jeringer Borcham bpt 3 Oct 1803 Sapiston parents Ambrose & Martha Borcham.

There is also a Harriet Borcham bpt 3 Oct 1803 Sapiston parents Ambrose & Martha.

K

Could this be your Samuel? About the right age and it would confirm his parents were Ambrose and Martha.

Please let me know what you think!

Hi the samuel boreham born in 1829 is not the one i am looking for as i am looking for a samuel boreham born about 1800. The samuel jeringer borcham born about 1803 is interesting as the name could have been mispelt. Thanks Nick

Yes I think Keziah was saying that Jerman could be easily misspelt or mistrancribed so Jeringer could very well be it plus that birthdate seems okay.
Plus it would be amazingly coincedential if they aren't related because of the names - Ambrose, Samuel, etc. and even the places they lived.
How did you get his estimate birth year, Nick because census/certificates are often a couple of years off.

hi,  I think I got samuels date of birth from death cert and death records. So I am sure I am looking for a samuel jarmin boreham born about 1800. This ambrose connection from sapiston is looking interesting. Many Thanks Nick

Hi Nick
So is Samuel aged 48 when he died in 1848?
By the way, how are you related to Samuel (are we cousins?!)

hi , Samuel Jarmin Boreham died 14-12-1848 aged 47{ I have just looked at death certificate} He is my Great, great, great grandfather. If I can prove that your Ambrose is his father then we are related. I am looking at this Samuel jeringer borcham bpt in 1803 , who is a son of ambrose, as a possible samuel jarmin boreham and they have got the spellings wrong, but there is way to go yet. Thanks Nick
