Help with Elliots
« on: Friday 13 May 11 11:15 BST (UK) »
Hello List,
I wonder if any one can help me .
I was lead to believe that there was a HENRY ELLIOT born/baptised around 1762 in my tree. But I am unable to prove it.

His was father was supposedly ADAM ELLIOT and mother ELIZABETH (LIZZIE) ELLIOT. They were from Castleton Roxbrugh
Wife ELEANOR LITTLE

Children - 9 of them all born in Canonbie.
First 4 children were named
ELIZABETH 1784
DAVID 1786
ADAM 1788
CHRISTIAN 1790

This naming pattern fits in with his parents being Elizabeth & Adam  and her father apparently was David.

I can not find a birth of this Henry or any source to suggest that he is the son of Adam & Elizabeth. I wonder if he died in Canonbie?

Any Help to trace his parentage, death etc would be gratefully received.
