LLOYD'S OF CERRIGYDRUDION

I have a family of Lloyd's in Cerrigydrudion which I have been researching for a friend is there anyone who could help fill in the gaps for him as he knows nothing about his family.
The 1881 census gives the following family
Hugh Lloyd born 1832
Anne Lloyd born 1835 ( nee Price )
John Ellis Lloyd
Griffith Price Lloyd
Catherine Winifred Lloyd
Jane Ann Lloyd
Thomas Lloyd
Deborah Lloyd
 I know Griffith Price married an Elizabeth Ann Phillips their children where Thomas, John Ellis, Walter and Oswald who is the grandfather of my friend.

I believe that Hugh Lloyd's father was Ellis Lloyd who married Mary Jones 24 April 1824
these are I believe their children
Eleanor Lloyd
Catherine Lloyd
Edward Lloyd
Hugh Lloyd
Deborah Lloyd
John Lloyd

I also believe that Ellis Lloyd's parents where Ellis Lloyd and Catherine Owens 22 Nov 1800.
Can anyone tell me if I am with the right family.   Thanks  Norma

I read your post as my LLoyd family are also from this area although I didn't recognise any of the names you listed.

My Lloyds go back to John Lloyd born about 1735 and his wife Eleanor Davies, their children John Lloyd (1764) and Humphrey Lloyd (1771) were born at Gwnodl Fawr, Cynwyd.

On the 1861 census, your Hugh Lloyd is living with his wife at Tyn Rhyd Cottage, Llaethrwyd, Meirionethshire.

Just in case you're interested (sorry if you know any of this already) I saw this in the GRO index of marriages:
Lloyd, Hugh & Price, Anne
Quarter:    December   Year:    1858   District:    Corwen    County:    Denbighshire Merionethshire   Volume:    11b   Page:    700

This is part of my family. Anne Lloyd nee Price was a sister to my gggrandfather Lewis Price from Llangwm. This famiily is traceable through the censuses, they moved about quite a bit. I am in contact with another ancestor of this family too if you need any information.
