Tithes Applotments: Index lookup for Killpatrick and Kirkpatrick

Hello:
A number of years ago (2002!  ), another researcher looked up the surname, KILPATRICK, in the Tithes Applotment Index for me. I realize now that this list is incomplete without the spelling variants.
Could someone look up the surname spellings KILLPATRICK and KIRKPATRICK, for the counties of Derry and Antrim, please?
Many thanks in advance, for any pointers or suggestions. I did look around the internet, but did not find an online resource.

Ancestry have "Tithe Applotment Books, 1823-1837" and you could check to see if your local library has access to Ancestry Library Edition.

You can get a bit of detail from the free search (will list name and county (fiddling with parish might narrow down the results).

That's the good news. The bad news is that I don't think it's complete. Searched for Aghadowey Parish in Co. Londonderry (no name) and only 2 entries. Also searched on a very common surname (no place) and very few results.

Thank you for the information. The closest library which *might* have this CD is three hours away. So, looks like it's a day trip to Halifax.

Does a closer library not have Ancestry?

I had a look on Ancestry, there are 4 Killpatricks and 20 Kirkpatricks but none are in Antrim or Derry. Quite a few of them are in Donegal.

@Aghadowey, I should clarify that I do have a subscription to Ancestry and also found no Kilpatrick etc. entries in the Tithe Applotment Index there. I do know that there were at least several families in each of the counties Antrim and Derry, on land sufficiently large to be valued for the tithes.
It seems that the index may be imperfect, and I have read comments online to that effect. I conclude that the only way to get the data comprehensively and reliably is to obtain it from the actual books (or microfilm copies of same) held at the PRONI. I'll have to hire a researcher, but c'est la vie :-).
