Can any kind member who has access to Scotish death records identify where this casualty was killed in 1944.  He was involved in an accident whilst out running.

Likely death entry for him showing on the official pay to view site www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. Death showing in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire.

I don't have any credits for the official site, Scotlandspeople, but a free search of the index indicates that his death was registered at Aboyne, Aberdeenshire.

You should be able to view a copy of the actual image on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

It costs £7 for 30 credits which would allow you to view and print off 5 Scottish birth, marriage, death or census records which is better than ordering a copy
