Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone can help me please. I am trying to locate the above family of Hall's.
My 3rd great grandfather Thomas Hall married a Mary McKinney(McKenny, McKinny) at Ardmore Church of Ireland on March 27th 1857. Thomas Hall aged 23 being of Derryinver has his father being John Hall (Farmer), but on English census he states himself as being from Co Tyrone.
Mary McKinny aged 26 being of Derryinver, father being Michael McKinny (Farmer)

Thomas and Mary had the following children.
William John Hall b 1858 Armagh
Mary Jane Hall b 1860 Armagh
Thomas James Hall b 1863 Armagh
Margaret Anne Hall b 18/5/1865 Portadown
Elizabeth b 31/12/1867 Portadown
Samuel b 12/2/1871 Walker, Northumberland England

The family moved to Northumberland late 1860's as all children are on the 1871 census.

Does anyone have a connection to Thomas Hall, he died in South Shields, England aged 70

Hi all,

I really need some help please and I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I am struggling to find the birth of my 3rd great grandfather Thomas Hall. On his marriage cert it states his father being a John Hall. Thomas married in Armagh but on the English census he states as being born in Co Tyrone. I estimate his birth to be around 1832 and that's all I have.

Marriage in 1857 aged 23 thus poss born  1834
1861 still in Ireland
1871 Census aged 36 thus poss born 1835
1881 Census aged 50 thus poss born 1831
1891 Census aged 57 thus poss born 1834
1901 Census aged 69 thus poss born 1832

Death cert states that he died in 1902 aged 70 in Hebburn, England

I know this is a common thing with ages, but where do I go from here trying to locate his birth and parents. Tyrone is such a big place and I am STUCK....It happens to us all I know but please if anyone can help would you please reply, many thanks Angeline xx
