Looking at the ages at death we see a significant age difference between JANE and RICHARD.

http://www.rootschat.com/links/0d9l/

It may be a different man, but this advertisement , published Argus  26/11/1956, and in some other editions around the same time, shows he was possibly in Australia from at least that year.

No middle name is used so confirmation is not quite possible.

Was looking at the age difference. Some thrity odd years. Would suspect he was previously married.
Probably the same gentleman seeing he is from Nottingham.

Jon,

Did Henry GRACIE & Margaret FLETCHER have two daughters named Jane?

As I can see no birth for Jane registered in TAS (nothing unusual) but I can see her death age 2yrs in 1854 ???

Then looking further I can see her birth registered at Middlesex UK in 1851 with the correct parents   :-\

Not that I am aware of. Thats a little odd. Jane born in 1851 and dying in 1854, but Jane going on to marry Richard L Brewster???
Thoughts??
And thank you for following thru with the extra info. Much appreciated.

Jon
