Can you clarify some dates here please?

Are you talking about them marrying in 1921? Not 1821?

Or was she born in 1802 and not 1902?

Also what addresses do they give on their marriage cert?

Looking at Birth Regns, theres a couple of candidates about Kathleens age - but none in the 1898 timeframe.

In 1901 census, in Kensington, a George Carr c1844 is a Cab Driver - married to an Ellen from Norfolk.

RG13/Piece: 29 Folio: 32 Page: 55

Pairing that with this birth :

Births Dec 1903
Carr  Edward Richard     Kensington  1a 141

and looking carefully at the 1911 census Free Index shows an Edde Carr of that age in Kensington - possibly in the same household with a George and Ellen and other siblings shown in 1901.

in 1911 there was
george marr. b. 1846 westminster  he was an invalid
ellen aged 56 from gissing norfolk
frederick aged 27 a carman
jack 18 a porter  **he is down as head
and
edde carr aged 7 from kensington GRANDSON

there is also a george born 1880 on the 1881 census as either 8 wks or months and then again on the 1891 census
on the 1891 census frederick arthur and sidney off the 1901 are there too
